Remember when your kiddos were learning to ride a bike? Puberty is kind of like that – a time of big changes and new skills! Around ages 10-13, their bodies are starting some seriously cool transformations, all thanks to hormones doing their amazing work. For girls, this often means things like breast development and the start of menstruation around 12 or 13. For boys, they might notice their voice deepening and other changes happening.

It's super normal for them to be curious and maybe even a little self-conscious about these changes. Just like learning to balance on that bike, it might feel a bit wobbly at times, but it's all part of growing into the fantastic young adults they're becoming! Keep those lines of communication open – your warmth and understanding are their best support!
